Coolest Club Award

10th May 2019

CoderDojo Bangridge took home the Coolest Club award this week at the 2019 Coolest Projects event, and St Mary's pupil Erin Corkery won an individual award in the Visual Programming Category.

The 2019 Coolest Projects International event took place this week at RDS in Dublin, with presentations given by teams working on cool projects as part of their local CoderDojo group. The event also included a series of workshops running all throughout the day for kids and adults, and travel bursaries were available for those travelling far to the event.

CoderDojo Banbridge won two awards at the event, picking up the Coolest Club award for its group and an award in the Visual Programming Category for member and St Mary's pupil Erin Corkery who was supported by big brother Joseph.

Well done Erin!
