Caught Being Kind

22nd Nov 2021

This week was Anti - Bullying Week. The theme this year was 'One Kind Word.'  Throughout the week our children had opportunities to discuss Anti - Bullying and show an awareness of the impact kindness can have on others.

As a school community we came together and the result was overwhelming. Each child in the school performed an act of kindness and contributed a food item to their class hamper. The food hampers were then delievered to J29. The hampers looked amazing, everyone associated with our school are so proud!

Congratulations to all the children who were caught being kind this week. We had so many kind acts this week it was a credit to everyone involved.

Thank you to all our staff who help decorate the hampers. A special mention has to go to Mr Sean Devlin, our caretaker who helped organise, collect and deliver the hampers to J29. A big thank you to our playground buddies who helped share the load today, much appreciated!

On behalf of the principal, the staff and the charity J29, we appreciate your kindness and thank you for such generosity.
