Who else can help?

In St Mary’s Primary School, we work in partnership with a range of external services. Once an SEN need has been identified, the teacher and SENCo will liaise with the appropriate outside agencies:

  • HSC Speech and Language Therapy/Occupational Health/Physiotherapy
  • HSC RISE NI
  • HSC Community Paediatricians
  • HSC Autism Diagnostic & Intervention Service
  • HSC CAMHS/ADHD Teams
  • Advice from organisations will be sought where appropriate e.g., Down's Syndrome Association, Epilepsy Association, Dyslexia Association.

The school has in-school counselling with Barnardos Time 4 Me. A counsellor works with targeted children on a 1 to 1 basis.
