The children looked fantastic in their colourful clothing, face paints, crowns and wigs- and the staff too! A special thanks to all our parents and staff for making such a super effort. Our Spectrum Colour Walk certainly brightened up a dull day! Throughout Autism Acceptance Week, we have been overwhelmed by the children's interest, enthusiasm and participation. From their beautiful artwork in our spectrum rainbow display, insightful acrostic poems and buzzing conversations through our learning videos and songs, every child has embraced "different minds." Our Autism Ambassadors did a wonderful job delivering wristbands to every class. By raising awareness of Autism and how everyone is unique, our Pupil Voice is loud and clear that they have seen the Amazing in Autism!Mrs McArdle, SENCO & Miss Downey, Deputy SENCo.
