P5 Trip to the Ulster Museum!
17th Apr 2026
P5 pupils had a wonderful and informative visit to the Ulster Museum as part of their 'Ancient Egyptians' topic. The children enjoyed exploring the 'Discovery' section, creating hieroglyphic artwork and handling artefacts from different civilisations and historical periods. Pupils investigated roles, responsibilities and relics from ancient Egyptian times including charms used for mummification and canopic jars. The children also learned about Takabuti, the Egyptian mummy on display at the museum. We had a fantastic and interesting day!
