We were delighted to welcome Jessica and Rakia from Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke (NICHS) today to deliver a talk about the local charity which is dedicated to preventing chest, heart, and stroke illnesses. They focus on informing and educating people about early warning signs and supporting healthy lifestyle changes. NICHS offers various programs and services, including health checks, wellness sessions, and support for individuals and families affected by these conditions.
Heartley's Heroes is one of NICHS's programs designed to engage and educate children about heart health. It aims to promote healthy habits from a young age through fun and interactive activities. The program includes educational materials, games, and challenges that encourage kids to learn about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and how to take care of their hearts.
