Shared Education Do Minecraft
As part of our Shared Education programme this year the Primary 5 children had a very creative experience navigating through Minecraft. Our school welcomed neighbouring schools Abercorn and Edenderry to think, plan and create a new building/monument/area in Banbridge. The creativity was amazing and some future architects in the making. Most importantly the children had the chance to collaborate together and take their plans to the digital platform 'Minecraft.' Each child had the opportunity to express themselves and develop their digital skills. Some of the new buildings created were Puppy Palace, Lego Shop, Aquarium, Oggies Part 2, The Best Cafe in the World, Pet Shop, Dunkin Donuts and even a new park area. The creativity was very impressive.
A big thank you to AMMA Centre in Armagh for providing ICT support and all the staff who helped on the day, it was a great success.
We look forward to meeting up again soon as part of our Shared Education Programme.
