On Monday 12 March 2018, 25 European teachers and 3 students were warmly welcomed by our staff and pupils to our wonderful new school. This was our first host visit as part of our ongoing Erasmus+ project @museart. Our European partners travelled from Estonia, Spain, Croatia, Bulgaria, England, Sweden, Ireland and Italy to join us for a week of cultural, educational and professional development workshops.
Day 1 - Our talented St.Mary's musicians played a selection of instruments for our guests and our choir performed "The Star of the County Down". After a short tour of our new school, Grainne and Niall from the Amma Centre in Armagh delivered a workshop on digital storytelling and the use of a green screen to enhance our project activities. In the afternoon, our European visitors were treated to a walking historical tour of Banbridge town, which was guided by Jason Diamond from ABC Council.
